Some natural ways of killing fleas and ticks

Fleas and ticks have been a constant enemy of all pets. Thus, here are some ways by which fleas and ticks can be killed. These ways of killing fleas are natural and will be very effective. These methods can be used on a puppy as well as they are safe and free from side effects.

A recipe to kill fleas and ticks
Take cider vinegar, warm water, baking soda and some warm water. Now mix this content and wait for some time. The mixture will react slowly and then after ten minutes or so you can spray this mixture all over the house. Just make sure that you do not put this mixture in the pet’s eyes. This mixture may harm the pet so the areas where you have sprayed it do not allow pets to go there for some time.


Boric powder
Boric powder is a wonderful way to kill fleas and ticks. You just need to sprinkle the powder all over the house. You can even sprinkle the powder all over the garden as well. This will kill fleas and ticks in just a few hours after its application. After sprinkling this powder, you can wait for overnight and then vacuum the entire house. Just keep your pet away from the area where you have sprinkled this powder.

Rosemary and neem leaves
Rosemary and neem leaves are another way to kill fleas and ticks from dogs and cats. Rosemary can be boiled in a pan of water and then after the liquid has cool down, you can apply this to the pet. Make sure that this is applied to the dog and not on the cat. Cats are bit sensitive to this herb.

Neem leaves are a wonderful way to kill fleas and ticks. It is a natural antiseptic and it will keep these pests from your pet. The wounds on the body of the pet will be healed by the application of neem leaves.
